Take the plunge to help animals at HSWC!

Pre-registration is closed, but you can still come to the event on January 7th and register to plunge same-day for $30! Registration opens at 10:30am!

Join us on Saturday, January 7, 2023 for our 20th Annual Polar Bear Plunge at Greenbrier State Park! (Day of check-in and registration begins at 10:30am, and the plunge happens at noon!) Help us in our mission to provide care and find loving homes for the thousands of animals that come to HSWC each year. All proceeds benefit the Humane Society of Washington County!

Register by December 15th to receive a Polar Bear Plunge long sleeve t-shirt! Reach one of the donation levels below through fundraising or recruitment, and you will receive a small token of thanks. Incentives are awarded to individual fundraising goals and do not apply to team totals.

$100 Fundraising Level OR 4 Participants Recruited - Polar Bear Plunge Can Koozie

$250 Fundraising Level OR 10 Participants Recruited - Polar Bear Plunge Pop Socket

Day of check-in and registration will be open from 10:30am to 11:45am. Prizes will be awarded at 11:45am for Best Individual Costume, Best Team Costume, Most Money Raised by an Individual, Most Money Raised by a Team, and Largest Team of Participants. The plunge is at noon sharp!

Interested in supporting the animals at HSWC but unable to attend this year's plunge in person? Become a virtual plunger! Virtual plungers who register by December 15th will receive an official Polar Bear Plunge long sleeved t-shirt, have access to helpful fundraising tools, and be eligible to earn the same incentive prizes as in-person plungers. Submit your virtual plunge video to HSWC via Facebook Messenger or to ncordell@hswcmd.org by January 9th for your chance to win Most Creative Virtual Plunge!
