Take the plunge to help animals at HSWC!
Preregistration for the Polar Bear Plunge closes at 12 pm on Friday, January 12th, 2024. Reach one of the donation levels below through fundraising or recruitment, and you will receive a small token of thanks. Incentives are awarded to individual fundraising goals and do not apply to team totals.
$100 Fundraising Level OR 4 Participants Recruited: Polar Bear Plunge Car Magnet
$250 Fundraising Level OR 10 Participants Recruited: HSWC Tote Bag
Day-of registration and check-in will be open from 10:30am to 11:45am. Prizes will be awarded at 11:45am for Best Individual Costume, Best Team Costume, Most Money Raised by an Individual, Most Money Raised by a Team, and Most Participants on a Team. The plunge will commence at noon!
Interested in supporting the animals at HSWC but unable to attend this year's plunge in-person? Become a virtual plunger! Virtual plungers who register by December 21st will receive an official Polar Bear Plunge long sleeved t-shirt, have access to helpful fundraising tools, and be eligible to earn the same incentive prizes as in-person plungers. Submit your virtual plunge video to HSWC via Facebook Messenger or to events@hswcmd.org by January 15th for your chance to win Most Creative Virtual Plunge!
