Day of Registration, Check-In and Award Announcements

Day-of registration and check-in for preregistered plungers begins at 10:30am ends at 11:45am. Prizes will be awarded at 11:45am for Best Individual Costume, Best Team Costume, Most Money Raised by an Individual, Most Money Raised by a Team, and Most Participants on a Team. The plunge will commence at noon!

Virtual Plungers

Interested in supporting the animals at HSWC but unable to attend this year's plunge in-person? Become a virtual plunger! Virtual plungers who register by December 26th will receive an official Polar Bear Plunge long sleeved t-shirt, have access to helpful fundraising tools, and be eligible to earn the same incentive prizes as in-person plungers. Submit your virtual plunge video to HSWC via Facebook Messenger or to jdraper@hswcmd.org by January 13th for your chance to win Most Creative Virtual Plunge!

Creating Your Polar Bear Plunge Fundraising Page

After you register as an in-person or virtual plunger, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to help you create your very own fundraising page. You can use your fundraising page to encourage friends and family to donate towards your plunge. By creating a fundraising page, you will help raise much needed funds for the Humane Society of Washington County and be eligible for a fundraising award.

Starting a fundraiser is easy to do, and it's fun! We'll even give you all the tools you'll need to make a difference. With your help, we can ensure more animals are cared for and placed into loving, forever homes.
