The Humane Society of Washington County invites you to celebrate the winter of 2019 at Greenbrier State Park in Boonsboro, MD. Become a member of the Polar Bear Club while helping the 6,000 homeless animals that come through the doors of the HSWC each year. Take the plunge at 12 noon on Saturday, January 12, 2019! All proceeds benefit the HSWC.
Nervous to take the plunge? Don't worry, you'll be in good company. In fact, this is the perfect year to try it! Due to maintenance at the lake this year, we won't know what the water level will be until the day of the event. So there's a chance the water will be a bit shallower than usual. Will it be a plunge or a splash?
Day of check-in and registration will be open from 10:30 to 11:45 am. Prizes will be awarded at 11:45, and the frigid plunge is at noon sharp!
